AQA has taken a unilateral decision to scrap the A-level in Polish from 2018. Are you going to lobby the AQA to reverse their decision? If yes, are there any other actions which you would undertake in order to preserve the Polish A-level?!

I know that Nick de Bois had a debate on the AQA issue just before Parliament was dissolved which lead to a great deal of publicity for the issue and the Government announced last week that it would ensure that Polish A level continues to be offered.

Poland was the most loyal ally of Britain in the Second World War. Would you support a ban on British media falsely labelling the German concentration and death camps as being “Polish” e.g. Polish ghetto, death camps of Poland, or, Poland’s Auschwitz?

I’m afraid I don’t put my name to any requests of this sort during an election. We receive many hundreds of such ‘manifestos’ and series of questions on a myriad of different issues and we simply don’t have the resources to research all the issues, many of which are extremely complex. This doesn’t mean they aren’t important and shouldn’t be thought through carefully. It just means that I simply don’t have the capacity to do so in any reasonable, rational or comprehensive way during the heat of the election period.

Do you support promoting information about the positive contribution of Polish immigrants to the economy of the UK?

f and when the issues you outline come before the House of Commons, I make you the promise that I will research them carefully before I come to any decision.
What I can say without having to think too hard or do any research is that my experience of working with Polish people is almost uniformly positive.

Questions were sent out before the elections.
